Seeing in the New Year away from the crowds! The Gillespie/Rabbit Pass trip is widely regarded as New Zealand's hardest guided hiking tour. Following the main divide of the South Island this route has exceptional views of the highest peaks including Mount Aspiring. Even though this trek is challenging, there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. No heavy packs needed, accommodation is a combination of beautiful mountain huts and our pre-placed campsites.

GILLESPIE PASS with it's waterfalls and glacier views make this a journey not to be missed. This trip takes in the Young and Siberia Valleys and culminates in Gillespie Pass at over 1500m, a stunningly beautiful location

RABBIT PASS if you are not afraid of heights and want a challenging “real NZ” hiking experience. Once the grassy flats of the Wilkin valley are left behind there are no more huts.
